Join John Boe from Wildway Bushcraft and discover the joy and beauty of creating wonderful baskets out of Rush.
Set in Horton village hall and based over 4 weeks, 1 evening a week, you will be able to get to grips with the wonderful natural material of rush.
Once common place in the UK Rush was used for everything from mats to horse harnesses, baskets to seating showing its diverse and adaptable qualities. We are very excited to be able to offer you the chance to rekindle the lost art of Rush weaving.
Set in the beautiful Horton Village hall with scenic views, ample parking, plus tea, coffee and cake, John will show you how to craft beautiful items which you will then take away with you.
This course is suitable for beginners and each evening we will build on your weaving skills and by the end of the course you will be ready to dive head first in to the world of Rush!
